Khush Singh leads our denture services as our Clinical Dental Technician. He enjoys the hands-on detail of designing and customising dentures, and seeing the difference a well-made denture can make to someone’s confidence and everyday life.
For Khush, a good result starts with understanding what the patient actually wants and making sure they feel heard. He takes the time to explain the options, what each stage involves and what to expect as you adjust to a new denture. He is also realistic about the process: dentures can take time to get used to, and follow-up adjustments and ongoing maintenance are often part of getting the best result.
Khush is particularly conscious that denture treatment can feel like a big step, especially when it involves extractions or follows a difficult dental experience. If you’re nervous, he is happy to slow things down, take breaks and involve a support person, while making sure you stay informed and comfortable with what is happening

Our dentists can take care of the dental work while Khush looks after your denture, with one team coordinating your treatment from start to finish.​
The denture process

Consultation
During your first appointment, Khush will talk through the suitable options and what you want from your new denture. If you choose to proceed, we may take initial impressions. If you need other dental work first, we can organise this with one of our dentists.

Secondary impressions
We take more detailed impressions using a special tray and create a bite registration to help get your bite right. At this stage, we’ll also help you choose the tooth shade and mould for a natural appearance.

Try-in
A model of your new denture gives you the chance to see how it will look and feel before the final denture is made. We can check the fit, bite, tooth position and appearance and make any changes before moving ahead.

Denture fitting
Once you’re happy with the try-in, your final denture is made and ready to fit. Khush will check the fit, bite, comfort and appearance and make any small adjustments that are needed.

Final check
We’ll usually get you back in after you’ve had some time to wear your new denture. This lets Khush check how it has settled, see how you’re getting on and make any adjustments that are needed.

Maintenance
Your mouth changes over time, and your denture will need some care along the way. We can help with relines, adjustments and repairs to keep it fitting and working well, and can add teeth to some existing dentures if your needs change.
